Im Gegensatz zum direkten Vorgänger erhielt The Darkside Chronicles eine USK-Freigabe und erscheint unzensiert in Deutschland.<br /> <br /> Zum 15. jährigem Jubiläum der Resident Evil-Reihe erschien The Darkside Chronicles zusammen mit Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles als HD Auflage im PlayStation-Store.<br /> <br /> == Spielmechanik ==<br /> Das Zielen im Spiel erfolgt mit der Wiimote, mit der, wie bei Spielen dieser Art auf dem Wii üblich, ein Cursor auf dem Bildschirm gesteuert wird. Die Möglichkeit den Spielcharakter selber zu steuern hat der Spieler nicht, die Bewegung des Charakters ist im Wesentlichen vorgegeben und folgt einem festen Plan.
